AT&T + iPhone 3G + “IRU” Errors
Perhaps later I’ll expand this into a full post, but for now:
If you’re attempting to purchase an iPhone 3G at an Apple Store, and have an “IRU” error because your account is marked as corporate or has a corporate discount, do the following:
- Call 1-866-907-3484.
- Tell them you’re trying to purchase an iPhone 3G in the Apple Store, but getting IRU errors.
- Make sure you get the IRU, FANs, and BMG Indicator removed from your account.
They’ll call you back in 4 to 72 hours, and at that point, you should be clear to purchase an iPhone 3G at your Apple Store.
